Good customer service is more valuable than advertising

I have in a number of blog posts argued for the importance of engaging with customers and highlighted how customer service is changing. Josh Bernoff at Forrester Research has a blog post that supports this idea, he goes further and suggests 10% of advertising money is moved to serving and cultivating customers via better customers service.
