A topic in the twitter sphere the last 36 hours has been about how geo tagged tweets apparently is an invite to get robbed. Helped to fuel the topic has been web sites like pleaserobme.com I really think this is what Brits call a storm in a tea cup. Even the most lame bugler will know people that work are out of the home during office hours – finding a house where everybody have a job isn’t that difficult, even without checking for geo tagged tweets – do not require a laptop ! To be frank, I struggle to see how a geo tweet can tell a bugler that the whole house is empty and not just that one person is away from the house.
What is the biggest risk, having a job or geo tag tweets ?
